    Description

    French made alarm cannon. It is a black-painted, miniature 12 gauge blank firing cannon. These little cannons , being made since the early 1800’s, having a spring-loaded mechanism, are wired to the trip wire and will alert and scare off burglars or thieves. This one is marked "MF" for "Manufacture Francaise” and states only use with blanks. It is about 6 3/4”long. Looks complete and in working order.
